The Army Trailer is a flatbed trailer in GTA V. It belongs to the Utility vehicle class in the game and only appears in missions. There are three variants of the Army Trailer named as armytrailer, armytrailer2 and freighttrailer.

The Army Trailer in GTA V is a large, triple-axle flatbed trailer with various versions and features. It has a substantial profile and includes landing gear stands, a chassis, and a small rear bumper with circular tail lights. The bed of the trailer has a front wall and multiple hook points. It is equipped with industrial wheels similar to those found on the Dock Handler and Docktug vehicles.
The first model, armytrailer, features a camouflage livery matching other military vehicles and has a white primary color with brownish/yellowish rims. The second model, armytrailer2, has a civilian appearance without any livery and includes the prop of a lowered Cutter. It is brown in color with a yellow secondary color for the Cutter prop.
The third model, freighttrailer, is an extended variation designed to carry a Freight Train and lacks specific details found on the other models. It is primarily brown in color. Various vehicles in the game, such as the Barracks Semi, Docktug, Hauler, Packer, Phantom, and Phantom Wedge, can tow the Army Trailer. However, the freighttrailer cannot be towed by any vehicle as it lacks compatibility with the trailer property of trucks.
The Army Trailer is a heavy-duty trailer designed for larger and heavier loads. Its weight makes it challenging to navigate through busy traffic and narrow streets, resulting in reduced speed. The wide profile of the trailer makes it prone to tipping during cornering, and the front extension limits its turning radius.
The extended version is even more demanding, requiring ample space to maneuver without colliding with other vehicles or obstacles. Interestingly, players can stand on top of the trailer without the risk of falling off. Although it has its own handling line, the trailer cannot be driven independently.
This vehicle cannot be modified.
Minisub - The armytrailer variant is used to transport the Submersible.
Driller - The armytrailer2 variant can be seen in this mission with the Cutter on its bed.
Sidetracked - The freighttrailer variant is seen in this mission and used to tow a Freight Train and a wellcar.
The Army Trailer cannot be obtained outside of missions without the use of mods.
On the armytrailer2 variant, the headlights of the Cutter prop are programmed to work as marker lights. Thus, the player may notice the lights being on when the trailer is attached to a semi truck, especially during night time.
These trailer models are mission-exclusive and cannot be obtained in normal gameplay without the use of modifications.
The freighttrailer is used during the Flight School lesson "Moving Landing", where the player must land a Swift on a moving truck with the trailer attached to it.
