The Emperor in GTA V is a traditional and luxurious American sedan, based on the Cadillac Sedan de Ville and the Fleetwood Brougham, with a small grille, four square headlamps, and chrome accents on the sides and windows. It has numerous tail lights on the rear end and comes in both single and two-tone colors.
The beater variant features worn interiors, rusty paint, and broken lights on the driver side, while the slightly damaged variant has a missing quarter panel and slightly rusted paint job. The heavily damaged variant has a completely destroyed and rusty paint job. In GTA V, minor changes were made to the Emperor as compared to the GTA IV version, such as a black "egg crate" grille, wider bottom grille, more pronounced detailing, different windshield wipers, black side mirrors, and the removal of white-wall tires.
The Emperor is a solid and heavy car powered by a high displacement but low-revving V8 engine, which offers low power and decent torque. It has a decent handling system, especially with a more performance-oriented suspension, but its low ride height can cause scraping and getting stuck in some areas.
The normal Emperor is very durable and can withstand multiple impacts to the engine, chassis, suspension, and tires without significant damage, making it one of the most durable cars in the game. The beater variant is not as durable and has weaker performance than the standard variant. The Emperor has a large trunk and can seat four occupants.

Can be obtained after completing a Drunk Driver Random Event in Sandy Shores.
Commonly seen driven around or parked in Downtown Los Santos, Vinewood, East Vinewood and Rockford Hills.
After The Long Stretch, Lamar's blue variant can be kept by storing it in Franklin's garage.
Spawns commonly around South Los Santos and Sandy Shores.
Parked in front of JJ's Forklift Repair on Crusade Road, in Strawberry.
The default radio stations for the Emperor are Radio Los Santos, The Lab or West Coast Classics.
In the enhanced version, the reverse and brake lights appear to be missing their texture when reversing and braking, despite the light elements illuminating.
Originally, the Emperor would lean back when traveling at high speeds because of its weight. This appears to be corrected in a later update.
