The Sentinel XS in GTA V has a fixed roof instead of a folding hard top and is designed with carbon-fiber reinforced plastic on its lower portions, rear-view mirrors, and roof panel. The car features a primary color for its body and interior stitching, and is equipped with "Cosmo" wheels.
In the enhanced version, the carbon-fiber components are replaced with secondary-colored parts. Although the model did not receive any visual changes in design in The Contract update, it was updated to fix a graphical glitch that caused the passenger side window to emit a slight glow.
The Sentinel XS performs very well, with a top speed and acceleration comparable to the regular Sentinel. Although it can handle several collisions, the car's body is not very sturdy and can easily become damaged at high speeds, causing the front wheels to jam. The vehicle features a twin-cam, four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a 6-speed gearbox, and has the same engine sound as the regular Sentinel.

The names of the three Übermacht vehicles are references to the movie The Matrix. The Oracle is a reference to the computer program that helps humans fight the machines, the Zion is a reference to the last human city, and the Sentinel is a reference to the machines the humans are at war with.
If correctly modified, the car can resemble the BMW M3 GTS.
The vehicle's description on Southern San Andreas Super Autos is a reference to the fact BMW drivers are known to be exceedingly obnoxious.
