The Voltic is an electric sports car in GTA V, manufactured by Coil. It belongs to the Super vehicle class in the game and can be found parked in most parking lots and also driven around the richer areas of Los Santos.
Name | Voltic |
Vehicle Class | Super |
Vehicle Type | Civilian car |
Body Style | 2-door electric roadster |
Capacity | 2 |
Manufacturer | Coil |
Appearance(s) | GTA V GTA Online |
The design of the Voltic in GTA V draws inspiration from the real-life Tesla Roadster and Lotus Elise, with additional styling cues from the Hennessey Venom GT. The headlights resemble those of the Rinspeed sQuba, an amphibious car based on the Lotus Elise. The overall shape and rear design resemble the Lotus Exige Series 2, while the wheel rims take inspiration from the Lotus Exige S.
The Voltic is depicted as a lightweight and compact roadster with a short wheelbase. Its exterior features curved lines, ovular headlights, and a low front end with bumper grilles. The rear end showcases circular rear lamps and a manufacturer nameplate.
The interior shares components with the "Super GT" interior but includes a dial displaying kilowatts due to its all-electric nature. The car offers various roof options and customizable color choices for the body, interior stitching, and hood.
The Voltic delivers exceptional acceleration, thanks to its electric motor and specially-tuned single-speed transmission. Its quick throttle response allows for swift maneuvering and effortless hill climbs. However, its top speed falls short compared to other supercars and sports cars.
The Voltic's handling is sharp and responsive, but its short wheelbase makes it prone to losing control, especially at high speeds. The vehicle's durability is average, with easily deformable body panels and susceptible wheels. Being electric-powered, it lacks engine noise but emits a subtle whine when in motion.

Oddly, the battery model uses four verniers and timing belts in line with each other to resemble four motors/batteries.
Originally, there were no options to change roofs, meaning the player had to steal one with the desired roof option.
Despite it being a single transmission car, there is a five-speed gear shifter inside. This is most likely an oversight.
