Not much is revealed about the background of the abandoned mine. Its door can be broken down using any explosives, the rocket launcher or the railgun. Inside the mine there are railway tracks for mine carts and a bunch of mining tools found. The tunnels in the mine do not lead anywhere but to dead ends not very far from the entrance.

The body of Isaac, the murder victim from the Murder Mystery side mission, can be found here. A film canister of Richards Majestic Productions can also be seen next to Isaac's dead body. The Murder mystery is solved on finding the body and two Vinatge Noir snapmatic filters are unlocked on each protagonist’s cellphone which can be activated using Isaac’s number on their respective cellphone.
The film reel next to Isaac's corpse is labelled Richards Majestic, this may just be a reused prop from Legal Trouble.
