The Antique Cavalry Dagger has a golden handguard and a brown grip. The golden handguard has a typical antique style with the guard going all around the hand, providing protection to the fingers as well and then connecting at the bottom. The blade is a straight two-sided blade that is a little curved towards the top. This weapon has a very vintage look.
The Antique Cavalry Dagger is a powerful knife that can also penetrate light armor. Pedestrians are killed in a single stab whereas it takes upto two hits for LSPD officers and NOOSE agents to be taken out, depending on where they’re being hit/stabbed. A normal attack makes the player stab the target at the bottom left of their abdomen. The attack following this is usually a kick that takes them out. Sometimes, the player will attack the target using an uppercut movement with the knife that directly slits their throat, killing them instantly. If used stealthily, the player will stab the neck of the target from the side, while approaching the target from the back.
The Antique Cavalry Dagger is automatically added to the player’s inventory and can be accessed using the weapon wheel.
Can be purchased from Ammu-Nation for $2,000 after completing the mission Mr.Philips.
The original HUD icon shows that the Dagger is more squared with a narrow edge and the central blade line starts on the handguard. However, the in-game Dagger is slightly curved to the end, and the blade line starts from some sort of mark next to the same handguard.
The weapon bears a resemblance to the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories rendition of the Knife.
The HUD icon in the enhanced version features a more correctly modeled version but lacks the details on the handguard.
