When she joined the group she became Johnny Klebitz’s girlfriend and went on a downward spiral of cocaine, meth and heroin addiction from there on. She followed Johnny to Blaine County and at some point got acquainted with Trevor Philips, as The Lost MC had worked with Trevor. She has had sex with Trevor multiple times behind Johnny’s back which angers Johnny every time.
In 2013, during the events of GTA 5, Trevor is seen having sex with Ashley Butler in his trailer. At that time, he notices something on the television, leaves her, and walks out of the trailer. On the news, he saw on the television is a hint that his best friend Michael Townley might still be alive, somewhere in Los Santos.
When he walks out of the trailer, Johnny Klebitz can be seen walking towards him, accompanied by Wade and Ron who are trying to stop him. He comes to talk to Trevor about him having sex with Ashley behind his back. A confused and angered Trevor breaks a beer bottle on Johnny’s head and stomps him in the same spot multiple times, killing him. Ashley watches the whole drama and sits down near Johnny, calling out his name loudly as she cries. Ashley can be killed at this point before Trevor leaves to visit the members of The Lost MC to inform them he has killed Johnny.
If Ashley is not killed by Trevor, the Weazel News will confirm her death after the mission by stating that she died of an overdose in a Paleto Bay condo, during a Heroin orgy with four other local males.
Ashley Butler has short red hair just above her shoulders and wears red lipstick. She can be seen wearing a red bra with a black Lost MC shirt on top, a short denim skirt and dark torn stockings right up to her thighs. She wears brown boots with heels that go up to her calves. She also wears a watch on her left wrist and a band on her right wrist. Around her neck is a chain with a pendant of some kind of spiral symbol.
Mr.Philips (Can be killed in this mission)
Ashley's age on the LCPD database is listed as 27 in 2008, making her 32 during the events of Grand Theft Auto V. However, the news report of her death lists her age as 37.
In GTA V, an unused contact thumbnail of her appears in the game files.
Ashley owns a private Lifeinvader account. After "Mr. Philips", regardless of whether the player killed her or not, Ashley will leave a threat on Ron Jakowski's account, telling him that they all will pay for Johnny's death. This is presumably an oversight but it can also suggest that Ashley canonically survives the events of "Mr. Philips".
In her description on the Rockstar website in People & Places, her description is "Party girl who has partied too much".
A. Killing Ashley doesn’t affect the storyline of the game in any way. Only a few dialogues during the drive to the members of The Lost MC in Grapeseed are determined by the choice of killing her or letting her live. She eventually is confirmed to be dead by the Weazel news, who reveal she died due to overdose.
