Who is Barry in GTA 5

Barry appears in the Strangers and Freaks missions for all three characters.

Michael

Michael is the first character who can meet Barry at Legion Square. Barry is seen sitting at a desk campaigning for the legalization of weed. He asks Michael to put down his signature and even try some of his weed. Michael refuses but Barry convinces him by saying he grows it himself.

Michael takes a drag and starts hallucinating. Michael has to then fight off a bunch of aliens who attack him. When the effect of the weed wears off, Michael tells Barry to stay away from him and leaves.

Trevor

Trevor is the next character who can find Barry at Legion Square at the same desk as before. He asks Trevor to sign the petition but Trevor refuses, saying he makes a lot of money selling weed, and it would harm his business if weed was legalized. Barry then asks Trevor to try his weed. At first, Trevor refuses, saying he doesn’t smoke anymore, but then agrees without much convincing needed.

Trevor too starts hallucinating and has to fight a bunch of clowns appearing out of vans who turn into bright-colored smoke when killed. As soon as Trevor stops hallucinating, he walks away from the scene in a panic.

Franklin

Franklin’s mission with Barry is divided into three parts. He is found standing in front of a store on Sinner Street in Textile City. He invites Franklin to a ‘smoke-in’, in an attempt to protest in favor of the legalization of weed. He also offers Franklin some of his weed, who leaves to pick up the stashes of weed for Barry, claiming the weed is “a little dry”.

He has to pick up the stashes that are in two different cars at two separate locations. He delivers the stashes to Barry’s apartment in Vespucci and then receives a text from Barry to meet him in front of the City Hall on Occupation Avenue for the smoke-in. Franklin does not find anyone there and leaves, annoyed.

Barry has grayish-black hair and looks well-dressed. He wears a pair of glasses and a gray suit. He is usually spotted holding a joint in his hand. He appears to have bloodshot eyes, for obvious reasons.

2. In the beta version, there was an extra mission for Barry which involved Franklin stealing a helicopter full of weed.
