The Blista in GTA V has undergone a complete redesign and now takes the form of a three-door hatchback, falling under the B-segment category. It retains some characteristics of its predecessor, the Blista Compact, with sport coupe styling and dual exhaust pipes.
The design draws inspiration primarily from the third-generation Honda Civic Type R hatchback, with elements borrowed from the US-spec Civic sedan and the Volkswagen Scirocco R. Additional styling cues can be seen from vehicles such as the Honda City, Honda CR-Z, Honda Fit/Jazz, Volkswagen Golf R, and Mitsubishi Colt.
The compact size and sporty design make the Blista particularly appealing to younger drivers in Los Santos. It features a small front end with circular headlamps, plastic grille, and a scoop on the bonnet. The sides showcase carbon-fiber mirror shells, black window frames, and chrome door handles.
At the rear, a bulky bumper and black diffuser house the twin exhaust tubes. The circular-shaped tail lamps with arrow-pointed edges and a small spoiler complete the rear design. The Blista is available in a single primary color that covers both the bodywork and interior stitching, and it rolls on eight-spoke rims with low-profile tires.
Despite its small body shape, the Blista surprises with its powerful engine, reaching a top speed similar to the Buffalo and matching the handling performance of the Issi. However, its lightweight frame makes it vulnerable to collisions, with just three or four major crashes rendering the car inoperable.
The front engine and front-wheel-drive configuration result in understeer at high speeds, which can be problematic for inexperienced drivers during police chases or situations requiring maneuverability.
The car's stiff suspension provides responsive steering in urban areas but becomes problematic off-road, causing the vehicle to rebound off obstacles and making it unsafe.
Additionally, the low ground clearance and compact size can lead to the wheels getting stuck in the wheel well after collisions or bad landings. The engine cover appears to resemble a longitudinally laid V8, powering the front wheels, although the engine model itself lacks detail.

In the first person view, if the player looks down towards the right front wheel and steers, they will notice the wheel actually comes through the inside fascia of the car. This is most likely a minor visual glitch.
Due to a possible coding error, the Blista cannot be picked up by the crusher in GTA III; the game responds with "Crane cannot lift this vehicle.”
The Lowdown 91.1 and Space 103.2 are the default radio stations for the Blista.
