Broken bottle is a melee weapon in GTA 5 added in the Beach Bum DLC update. It is quite an effective weapon and does damage just like the knife. It is a lethal weapon in melee fights.

The Broken bottle is a green glass bottle with the Stronzo logo on it. It is broken in half, with the bottom part having very sharp edges. It is a melee weapon that is used to strike a target with the sharp end of the bottle.

The broken bottle is used to stab the target, like a knife. During a normal attack, the player wielding it will stab the lower back or abdomen of the target, killing them. During a stealth attack the player will stab the neck of the target from the back. The bottle cannot be used in the water like the Knife or the Antique Cavalry Dagger.
There are no customizations for this weapon.

A. No, unlike the Knife and the Antique Cavalry Dagger which are very similar, the Broken Bottle cannot be used as a weapon in the water.
