The Burrito has two designs with just a few minor upgrades to the second one. The first generation Burrito has an analog speedometer while the second generation Burrito comes with a digital speedometer. The headlights on both the Burritos are placed differently. Both have rectangular headlights with unique grilles. The first generation Burrito comes with a chrome paneled front whereas the second just has the body paint on the bumpers as well. The first generation Burrito has the liveries of the Los Santos Department of Water & Power, Atomic and Pharte Gas. The rears of both vans are very similar but the second generation comes with vertical tail lights.

The Burrito is a very stable van with a good top speed of around 89mph. Even at high speeds, the handling of this vehicle is on par with very little oversteer. This is the fastest van in the game. The Burrito is highly durable and can withstand the impact from light collisions with ease. It is powered by a single-cam Inline-4 engine with a 5-speed gearbox. It has a rear wheel drive layout. The sound of the engine is a very smooth low-revving sound.

1. Near Lester's house and rarely in Sandy Shores.
2. At the construction site near Hawick.
3. The Atomic livery Burrito can spawn in Cypress Flats.
4. The Los Santos Department of Water and Power livery Burrito can spawn at the power station, near El Burro Heights and Cypress Flats.
5. Two Burritos spawn during "Father/Son."

Second Generation

1. Near all fruit stands across Blaine County and Los Santos County.
2. On dirt roads along the Great Ocean Highway.
3. Parked just off Joshua Road, north of Harmony and south of the rail-road bridge.
4. Can be parked on Route 68 near Bolingbroke Penitentiary.
5. Can be parked at the gas station near Sandy Shores Airfield.
6. Can be parked on Baytree Canyon Road on the edge of the Grand Senora Desert.
7. At the far right at Chumash Plaza in Chumash, Los Santos County.
8. In the enhanced version, a white Burrito alongside a white Washington can be found parked next to the Satellite Relay Station in the Grand Senora Desert with scientists between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm

1. Beta Burritos appear as wrecks in GTA IV with a different grille and headlight design. There is one found inside the Alderney Casino. This beta Burrito wreck also appears in multiple Scrap Yards in GTA V.
2. "Burrito" literally means "small donkey" in Spanish and Portuguese, referring to its type of utility vehicle, compared to the Pony.
3. A vehicle resembling the Burrito can be found in Rockstar North's Manhunt 2. The Bloodhounds from said game also use a military-like van based on the same vehicle.
