Cargobob is a heist setup mission in GTA V part of the Offshore approach for the Merryweather Heist.
In this mission Trevor has to drive into the Fort Zancudo military base to where the Cargobob is parked and steal it. When Trevor enters the base, he receives a 4-star wanted level which isn’t really as effective as it usually is. When Trevor flies out of the base with the Cargobob he is followed by a chopper which he has to get rid of before flying to the Sandy Shores Airfield and landing the Cargobob.

Steal the Cargobob.
Lose the military chopper.
Go to the hangar.

If necessary, the player will have to take out guards at the Fort Zancudo military base but the mission can be completed without any deaths or destruction.
There are no rewards for this mission as it is a heist setup mission.
After this mission, the Merryweather Heist can be done in the Offshore approach.
Heat-seeking SAMs will not attack the player if a sky route is chosen to enter the base.
One Buzzard Attack Chopper will follow the Cargobob if it is not destroyed although it can be destroyed by the player as it spawns near the last hangar. To identify it, the player must board the Cargobob, which will cause all red dots on the radar to disappear, except one that later becomes a big red dot.
Unlike the normal gameplay, where only an alarm is present when invading the base, in this mission the same alarm is present, but similarly to Area 69 during Black Project, there will be an unique loudspeaker telling the soldiers to defend the base.
A. The Cargobob mission is unlocked if the Offshore approach is selected for the Merryweather Heist in GTA 5.
A. Drive into the Fort Zancudo base to where the Cargobob is parked next to the runway. Enter the cargobob and fly away with it.
