The Comet is a two-door sports car in GTA 5 manufactured by Pfister. This vehicle belongs to the Sports vehicle class in the game. It is one of the fastest cars in the game and performs very well even without being modified. It may have a bit of oversteer even while making turns at average speeds but the handling makes up for it. This vehicle can be purchased on the Southern San Andreas Super Autos site for $85,000 and can also be found driven around or parked around Los Santos in abundance.

The Comet is based on the Porsche 911 GT3. The overall shape of the body and a few distinct features are just like the Porsche 911 cars. The headlights have the same design as most Porsche cars with minor changes. The headlights are circular with three lamps fitted under the light cover while the tail lights are rectangular in shape. The Comet has a rear engine and hence there are vents for cooling the engine just above the rear wheels on the side of the body. The car can only be resprayed with a single primary color, which is applied to the entire body including the mirror covers and the bumpers.
The Comet performs very well as a Sports car. It has a really good top speed and is one of the fastest cars in the game. The acceleration and handling are also excellent on this vehicle which is balanced out by the car undergoing a lot of oversteer when making turns. Very often, the car skids when making turns but this can be controlled due to the good weight distribution and handling. The Comet makes an excellent getaway car but can accommodate only two people. It is powered by a single cam carbureted V8 3-Liter engine that can give up to 550 HP. This engine is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox and a rear wheel drive layout.

The vehicle is named after an eponymous astronomical object, which travels at high speeds. This clearly refers to the Comet's reputation as one of the fastest vehicles.
In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Carl Johnson always hops in the car without opening the door when getting in on the driver’s side; however, if the Comet is locked, CJ will not get in the car and the "jump in the car trick" is disabled, unless the player puts it in a garage, therefore unlocking it.
The Comet has an incorrect cinematic preview image on GTA Online Rockstar Games Social Club, showing the Pfister Comet Retro Custom.
Strangely, despite claiming and appearing to be rear-wheel drive, when rolled over, a driveshaft connecting the rear engine to the front wheels is present, without a center diff. This is clearly a developer oversight.
