Devin Weston in GTA 5

Devin Weston is a multi-billionaire who owns shares in dozens of hotel chains, alcohol brands, and more, but most importantly he is a major shareholder of the Merryweather security force. He has control over them and uses them for most of his criminal activities. Devin Weston also has a strong bond with Steve Haines of the FIB. Not much is revealed about his past in the game.

Devin Weston is first seen in GTA V during the mission By The Book where he is having a meeting with Steve Haines and Dave Norton, deciding whether to torture Ferdinand Kerimov. After this he leaves after being introduced to Michael and Trevor. Later, Michael goes to Devin Weston’s house to deliver the bonds stolen for the armored van by the trio. Here, Devin offers him and his friends a job to steal five luxurious cars and bring them to him. He also offers Michael the opportunity to meet with Solomon Richards, the famous movie producer whom Michael has been a fan of for a long time.

All of this is, however, to Devin Weston's advantage only, as when the final car is delivered along with the others to Molly Schultz at the Procopio Truck Stop with the help of Lamar, Molly informs them that Devin is not going to be handing them the money but will instead invest it in his own company to multiply it. This leaves the group angered for not getting paid.

Later, Devin decides to try and shut down the production of Solomon and Michael’s movie to be able to claim the insurance money under the inability to complete the film. He has Molly steal the film for the movie and bring it to him so that he can use it accordingly or destroy it, but Michael sets out to retrieve that film which results in Molly running away from him and ending up getting sucked into the jet's engine and dying. Michael brings back the film and the movie is successfully set for a premiere launch. At the premiere, Devin Weston arrives and tells Michael that as revenge for Molly’s death, he has sent the Merryweather men to his house to kill his family. Michael and Jimmy rush back home and successfully save them, taking out the Merryweather force present there.

Due to an unsuccessful attempt on Michael’s family, Devin Weston visits Franklin and asks him to kill Michael. Franklin is left to decide whether to kill Michael or Trevor, or take out all their enemies with their help.

Devin Weston is usually seen wearing light colored shirts and formal pants with brown shoes. He has a receding hairline and gray hair. He wears a wrist watch on his left hand. Sometimes, he is seen wearing loose sporty outfits like jerseys and shorts while he is jogging or working out.
