Elwood O’Neil In GTA 5

Elwood O'Neil belongs to the O'Neil family, a clan of inbred rednecks residing in Grapeseed, Blaine County. He's one of the siblings, including Walton, Wynn, Ernie, Earl, Dale, Doyle, Daryl, and Dan.

The family's ranch doubles as their home and meth lab, where they engage in drug trade and meth production, with Elwood taking a leadership role among his brothers. This group's rivalry with Trevor Philips, another drug dealer who owns Trevor Philips Enterprises, is a well-known facet of their interactions.

Elwood O'Neil is a pivotal figure in the events involving Trevor, the Los Santos Triads, and the O'Neil brothers. When the Triads opt for a partnership with the O'Neils over Trevor, tensions escalate.

Trevor, furious at losing potential clients, decides to exact revenge by attacking the O'Neil Ranch. Elwood, trying to protect their meth lab, rallies his brothers and drives away with Walton and Wynn.

Despite their efforts, most of the O'Neil brothers are brutally killed by Trevor, who destroys their meth lab and home. Elwood survives and returns to find the devastation. Enraged, he threatens Trevor over the phone, leading to a confrontation in Los Santos. Elwood, Walton, and Wynn attempt an attack but are later thwarted as Trevor has returned to Sandy Shores.

Determined to avenge their fallen brothers, Elwood, Walton, and Wynn return to Sandy Shores to confront Trevor. Unbeknownst to them, Franklin is tailing them on Trevor's orders, aiming to eliminate the remaining O'Neils. As the O'Neils realize they are being followed by Franklin, an elk causes them to crash, and they flee into the Raton Canyon forest.

Franklin contacts Trevor for assistance, and Trevor and Michael arrive by helicopter. Utilizing a thermal scope-equipped rifle, Michael eliminates Walton and Wynn. Elwood, hidden behind a rock, fires anti-tank rockets at the helicopter, prompting Franklin and Chop to locate and kill him as he tries to escape.

• In GTA Online, Franklin will mention Elwood O'Neil's death to the GTA Online Protagonist about Chop, saying that "Chop don't fuck around. He got bodies. Hey, just ask Elwood O'Neil".

• Elwood can be killed either by Franklin or Michael. When Franklin is chasing Elwood, the player can switch back to Michael and snipe Elwood from the helicopter.

• Using a rifle, fitted with a thermal scope, Michael shoots Walton and Wynn dead, but can't get a clear image of Elwood, who is hiding behind a rock and suddenly starts firing anti-tank rockets at the helicopter.
