The heavy sniper has a Picatinny rail just like the M82A3. It very much resembles the M107 and the Barrett M82 Rifle. It can be fitted with a normal scope or an advanced scope. The capacity of the mag is 6 rounds after which it reloads. The default gun has a fully black body with a few markings on the scope.
This weapon is a one-shot kill with high penetration armor piercing .50 BMG cartridges. The advanced scope can be zoomed in to quite a distance helping with a very precise shot. This gun can be reloaded even without scoping out and being semi-automatic. It can shoot rounds without long intervals in between, unlike bolt action rifles. The sniper can however not be fitted with a suppressor and hence cannot be used stealthily. The Marksman Pistol is the only gun that beats the Heavy Sniper considering the damage done by a single bullet.

Despite being semi-automatic, the sound of a bolt-action is heard when aiming the scope.
The HUD icon depicts the weapon with the scope mounted on the upper receiver, the upper rail moved further to the front and lacking a cheek rest, while the enhanced version depicts a more correctly modeled icon, although the vents are different compared to the in-game version.
The text on the left side of the gun in the enhanced version appears to be oversized and partially cut, resulting in an odd display.
