The Issi in GTA V is a small, agile car with a narrow body, short length, and low height. It takes inspiration from the styling of a 2001-2007 Mini Hatch, with headlamps resembling those of a Porsche 911 and a front fascia similar to that of a Fiat 500. The car's rear lights are adopted from the Mini Clubman but resemble those of a Smart Fortwo.
The car features a simplistic design with black matte wheel arches, small skirts, and a retractable roof. The primary color is applied to the bodywork and stitching, while the secondary color is used for a stripe on the bonnet. The car's stock wheels have 5-spoke rims with a pentagon-shaped black matte portion surrounding the center.
The Issi is a small and agile car with superb handling and potent brakes. It is powered by a supercharged inline-4 engine, which makes it nippy but not particularly powerful. Its sensitive steering can cause spin-outs at high speeds, and it is not very resistant to high-speed collisions.
Despite its poor durability and crash deformation, the Issi has superior handling and top speed compared to other cars in its class, except for the Panto, which has better acceleration.

The default radio station of the Issi is Non-Stop-Pop FM.
Red Issi props sit atop several 'Prepare for Take Off' billboards that pose as unique stunt jump ramps located around Sightings Bar & Restaurant at Los Santos International Airport.
Just like the Prairie, the Issi's 4 cylinder engine is laid longitudinally despite being front wheel drive, where this combination would be impossible without the use of a limited slip differential.
The car is named after the original Mini's designer, Sir Alec Issigonis.
