Jet in GTA 5

The Jet is much like the Boeing-747 with the dip taken to the mid part of the body instead of the front end. It is seen in 4 different liveries. The body of the jet is huge with four engines on the wings. The cockpit of the Jet can be seen to have traditional instrument panels and is a two seater space for the pilot and co-pilot. The rear passenger seats are not accessible and cannot be seen either.

The Jet is a heavy wide-body passenger plane. It can be considered to be as fast as the Shamal, though it beats the Cuban 800 and Velum. It is difficult to maneuver due to its weight and size but it does seem a little unrealistic for an airliner. It is highly durable and can take a lot of damage before exploding. However, it is quite delicate when it comes to ramming into something. Even if its wings hit a strong pole, the entire plane falls apart and explodes.

The Jet's most prominent appearance is during Legal Trouble, where multiple police cars are blasted by the Jets on the runways of Los Santos International Airport, and is predominantly responsible for Molly Schultz's death as she runs in front of an active engine of a Jet, being sucked in and killed instantly.

1. The Jet can be seen landing at Los Santos International airport after which it is seen taxiing to the side of the runway.
2. Very few can be found in the hangars at the airport.
3. There are smaller versions parked that look like the Jet at LSIA but are not controllable.
4. In the enhanced version, fewer Jets are seen at the airport.
5. A Jet can also be obtained by landing another aircraft on it in the air while it is flying. and then exiting the aircraft to enter the Jet without falling off.

1. The windows on the plane light up at night. They turn off a few seconds after a pilot exits, as the engines spool down.
2. The Jet does not have a door in the cockpit. However, what looks almost like a 'stitch' line in the fabric is present in the outline shape of a door.
3. A crashed Jet bearing the older FlyUS livery (the same livery as the jet in the scrapyard) can be found at the bottom of the ocean near the Paleto Bay shore. It does not have many accumulated coral parts around it, which suggests the crash might have been recent and therefore not long before the game's events. It does not play any role in the main storyline, but three submarine parts for the Death at Sea side mission can be found there.
4. The Jet, along with the Cargo Plane and the Freight Train, is not listed in the BradyGames guide, strengthening the theory that the Jet might have been added very late in the game's development.
