La Puerta is a small region located in southern Los Santos in GTA V. It is surrounded by Vespucci to the west, Davis to the east, Los Santos International Airport and Banning to the south, and Little Seoul, Strawberry, and Chamberlain Hills to the north. The famous Maze Bank Arena is located in La Puerta.

La Puerta was primarily an industrial area but the warehouses have now become a location for gang activity. Towards the southern part of La Puerta is the Maze Bank Arena and many highways leading to Los Santos International Airport due to which it has become a crowded area. When traveling from the airport to the city, visitors pass La Puerta which connects the city to the Los Santos international airport with a network of highways and flyovers.
La Puerta is most likely based on Long Beach and San Pedro in California. These are neighborhoods in the port district of Los Angeles. In the game, La Puerta is also seen next to a port area in southern Los Santos.
The mission Fame or Shame involving Michael De Santa’s daughter Tracey De Santa, just after Michael and Trevor meet again, takes place at the Maze Bank Arena in La Puerta.
