Lamar Davis in GTA 5

Lamar Davis is the best friend of Franklin Clinton and the two have known each other since they attended Davis High school together as kids. They eventually got into a life of crime. Lamar is a member of the Families gang. He and Franklin used to work for Simeon Yetarian who made them repossess cars sold to customers. Lamar is of Apache descent as mentioned by himself.

Lamar is seen in the opening credits of GTA V itself. He is with Franklin and the duo are out on a repossession job. They come across Michael who directs them to the right property. There are two cars to be repossessed, a 9F Cabrio and a RapidGT. Lamar and Franklin race the cars back to the dealership. Simeon then gives them another job to repossess a bagger from a Vagos-controlled area. The owner of the bike is killed in a gunfight between the Vagos members, and Lamar and Franklin. Lamar keeps the bike for himself but eventually gives it to Franklin.

Lamar then calls Franklin to help him kidnap Ballas gang member D. They successfully kidnap him with Chop’s help but are forced to set him free as Lamar reveals their location by making a call from his own cell phone.

Later Lamar meets up with Stretch who had been recently released from jail. They go to meet D along with Franklin for a supposed drug deal but are ambushed by the gang members. They kill all the gang members and make their way out of the building to escape the cops.

Soon, Lamar is seen outside his house in Strawberry with Franklin’s Aunt Denise where the two are talking to Franklin about how he hasn’t been loyal to the Families gang. While Franklin tries to explain himself, Trevor arrives at the scene saying he just wants to make some new friends. The three of them go to a drug deal set up by Stretch. There is a shootout at the scene after Trevor finds that the bricks were just drywall. The trio escape from there realizing that it was a set-up by Stretch to try and kill Lamar.

Lamar later finds out that Franklin has been working for Devin Weston stealing expensive cars for him. He tracks Franklin through his GPS to Hayes Autos garage on Little Bighorn Avenue. Lamar then helps Trevor and Franklin to transport the cars on a trailer while even evading the police. They successfully do the same but do not get paid by Devin which annoys them.

Lamar is kidnapped by the Ballas after another drug deal set up by Stretch. Franklin along with Trevor and Michael rescue him. However, after being rescued, Lamar only argues with Franklin telling him that he has abandoned him for his new crew and that he isn’t being helpful. Franklin argues back saying that he has always been getting Lamar out of trouble only to see Lamar getting himself back in trouble. Lamar is advised by Franklin to get a real job and quit gang banging. As their argument ends, Lamar overhears Steve Haines and Dave Norton meeting Franklin around the corner and ordering him to kill Trevor when the time is right.

Lamar is usually seen wearing a green t-shirt or a green shirt with a black full sleeve t-shirt under it. He wears a green Families cap and a chain around his neck with a locket of some sort. He has ear piercings and tattoos on his body.
