He is a soapboxer who can be found standing at the Mexican Market located at the corner of Elgin and Hawick avenues. He speaks in Mexican which is translated for the player in the form of subtitles. He talks about being treated harshly in Los Santos for being a Mexican and about the threats he receives for the same. He reveals how he is a struggling actor and desperately needs a job in acting.
Mani reacts differently to the three protagonists. Mani talks rudely to Michael, telling him to keep patronizing others. He also talks rudely to Franklin whereas he will bow down to Trevor in fear.
After speaking to Mani as any protagonist, his character is unlocked in director Mode.
Mani is seen dressed as a Mariachi in a Mexican hat and a yellow scarf.
