Marnie Allen was born in 1987 and grew up in the Midwest, where she was a cheerleader. In 2005, she moved to Liberty City to pursue an acting career but was deceived into appearing in internet pornography by Joseph Kaplan. As a result, she became addicted to heroin, reaching a peak of a 5-bag-per-day habit.
She resorted to panhandling and eventually turned to prostitution to support her addiction. Marnie has a history of arrests, including charges for petty theft, prostitution, and heroin possession. Despite facing multiple arrests, she refused rehabilitation and continued to struggle with her addiction on the streets.
In GTA V, Marnie Allen appears as a devoted follower of the Epsilon Program, having moved to Los Santos after taking Niko's advice to heart. She plays a pivotal role in Michael De Santa's involvement with the program. After contacting Michael for a $500 donation, she becomes his guide through Epsilon's teachings. Marnie continues to seek donations and also assists in collecting cars for the program.
She introduces Michael to Jimmy Boston, another Epsilon member, and accompanies him in the quest for "alien artifacts" in the desert. Marnie's last in-person appearance occurs during the mission "Exercising the Truth," where she tasks Michael with a desert run to complete the program. Upon finishing all Epsilon missions, Marnie sends Michael emails that vary depending on the player's final decision.
If the money is given to Cris Formage, she expresses happiness and reveals the path to the Epsilon Tract for completing the Epsilon Paradigm. If the player keeps the money, she shows anger but also believes in redemption through finding all the Epsilon Tracts. Regardless of the decision, she continues to provide clues via texts about the Tracts' locations, showcasing her genuine belief in the Epsilon Program's teachings, even if Cris may be a con artist.
