Military Hardware is a setup mission for the Paleto Score heist in GTA 5. This mission can be done as protagonists Michael De Santa or Trevor Philips.
In this setup mission, the player has to take out the soldiers guarding the military convoy and take the truck back to the meth lab.
At the start of this setup mission, the player will receive a message from Lester Crest with information that the preparations for the Paleto Score heist mission have been done, except for the military truck. The truck will be seen on the map. To complete this mission with a gold medal, the player has to take out the first vehicle with a sticky bomb by placing it on the route of the convoy and setting it off when the first vehicle drives over the bomb. The guards will then attack the player. After taking out all the guards(with headshots for the gold medal) the player has to get into the truck and drive it back to Trevor’s office (the meth lab) where the heist was planned and park it at the yellow marker.
The mission ends when the player walks out of the vehicle after parking it.

Sticky Strategist - Stop the convoy using a sticky bomb trap.
Few military guards escorting and guarding the convoy are to be killed by the player before stealing the military convoy.

After this mission and all the other setup missions for the Paleto Score are complete, The Paleto Score heist mission can be done.
There are two different routes that the convoy takes.
Occasionally, the Barracks may spawn without the canvas roof. This is the only time this occurs in-game.
The truck will drive all the way to Fort Zancudo if the player follows it, and even then they will still be able to steal it without failing the mission, despite the reason for the mission failing if they lose the truck being "The convoy reached the base".
A. The player has to stop the convoy using a sticky bomb and also has to get 5 headshots to receive the gold medal for this setup mission.
A. To complete the mission Military Hardware in GTA 5, the player has to simply follow the mission objectives. They are as follows.
Intercept the military hardware.
Go to the meth lab.
Get back in the vehicle carrying the hardware.
Don't leave the hardware.
Get out of the truck.
Take out the remaining guards.
A. This mission will automatically trigger when the player is in the Grand Senora Desert region. They will receive a message from Lester and then the military convoy can be intercepted anytime while it travels through the Grand Senora Desert every few hours.
