Monkey Business is a storyline mission in GTA 5 that features all three protagonists with Steve Haines and Dave Norton also being part of the mission.
In this mission, Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips, Franklin Clinton, Steve Haines, and Dave Norton work together to retrieve a neurotoxin from the Humane Labs and Research building that the IAA has planned to use to increase their funding.
At the beginning of this mission, Franklin, Michael, and Trevor are seen gathered at Cape Catfish waiting for Steve Haines and Dave Norton to arrive. As usual, Michael and Trevor are seen arguing again and are interrupted by Franklin. Steve and Dave arrive and ask Michael where the three other people are as he claims to have told Micahel it is a six-man job. Michael denies that he was informed and Dave states that Steve said he’d make the arrangements himself. Due to lack of manpower, Steve and Dave decide to participate in this heist themselves.
Trevor and Franklin go to Sandy Shores airfield while Michael, Steve, and Dave get into a boat with their diving kits on. They make their way to the discharge tunnel of the Humane Labs and Research building, which is underwater. Michael has to create an opening by melting open the metal grill. They swim through the cooling tunnel and reach the building. Taking out workers and scientists on the way to the neurotoxin, they successfully secure it.
While leaving the building, a few more security guards and army men have to be faced by them. They kill the guards and reach the loading bay where the refrigeration unit for the neurotoxin is present. Michael loads the neurotoxin into the refrigeration unit and they then wait for Trevor to arrive in the Jetsam Cargobob to pick them up along with the neurotoxin.
During this time, Steve Haines informs the rest of the team that the agency response team is already in the building and it’s too late to escape. Michael suggests that it isn’t too late and they can still make it out. Steve Haines says he’ll cover for them and stays back by shooting himself in the leg to his benefit.
The rest of the group makes it out and back to Sandy Shores airfield from where Dave Norton takes charge of the neurotoxin which he drives away on a trailer. Trevor is put in charge of the disposing of the Jetsam Cargobob by Dave and he does so. Michael and Franklin have a small conversation after which they both go their own ways.
After this, Trevor is seen with Patricia in his Canis Bodhi, driving her back to the Madrazo farm house. After he drops her off, the mission ends.

Accuracy - Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 70%.
Time - Complete within 13:30.
The scientists at the lab can either be killed or taken out with a stun gun.
Many security guards and army men are killed while Dave Norton, Steve Haines and Michael De Santa make their way out of the building.

After this mission, Trevor gets a call from Patricia. He then goes back to Los Santos to Floyd’s apartment where he comes across Debra, Floyd’s girlfriend. Debra pulls out a gun on Trevor in anger which leads to certain events.
Despite Steve Haines saying that this was a six-man job, it was completed with only four (Franklin only handled organizing the getaway).
There was originally a helicopter chase through the city in the beta, similar to The Merryweather Heist (offshore approach).
This mission is directly connected to the GTA Online Heist finale The Humane Labs Raid. It also explains how Haines finds out, through what he only describes as his "sources", that the facility is making a nerve toxin.
If the player fails the mission by spooking Madrazo's men, the mission fail message will incorrectly spell Madrazo as "Madrazzo".
After this mission is completed and Patricia has returned to her home, Trevor's trailer will become dirty again, with trash scattered across the rooms, and cockroaches plaguing it once more.
