Mount Chiliad is the tallest peak in the state of San Andreas in GTA V. It is located in the northern region of San Andreas, to the northwest of Grapeseed and southeast of Paleto Bay. Mount Chiliad comes under the area of the Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness.

Mount Chiliad is based on one of the three, San Gorgonio Mountain, Mount San Antonio or Mount San Jacinto in real-life. It is the tallest peak in San Andreas and has a ropeway that can take you to the peak where there is a small wooden observation deck. Mount Chiliad has been a hiking spot for the people of San Andreas for many years.
The cable car can be accessed from the cable car station and is part of the Pala Springs Aerial Tramway system. Inside the cable car station is a cryptic drawing on a wall that depicts what appears to be the mountain and various symbols.

At the top of Mount Chiliad, on the observation deck there is some lettering that says “COME BACK WHEN YOUR STORY IS COMPLETE”. This is for the easter egg that can be triggered on 100% completion of the story. When the weather at night is stormy, a player can spot a UFO with FIB markings hovering above Mount Chiliad from the observation deck at 3am. If the player gets too close to it, it will disappear.
