Mr. Richards Mission In GTA 5

Mr. Richards is a storyline mission in GTA V given to Michael De Santa by Solomon Richards.

In this mission, Michael meets his idol Solomon Richards who looks forward to keeping him as an assistant. However, Michael helps Solomon with his troubles and towards the end of the mission, Michael sees an opportunity to be an associate producer for Meltdown.

At the start of the mission, Michael is seen entering Solomon Richards’ office. Solomon and Michael bond over a few dialogues from Michael’s favorite movies and they get talking. Solomon tells Michael about the problems he is having with the director and actors in the film they are currently shooting known as Meltdown. Milton McIlroy, the lead of the movie, and his new agent Rocco Pelosi are being a pain for Solomon Richards along with the director Anton Beaudelaire who does not want to shoot. Michael assures Solomon that he’ll take care of them.

Michael leaves for East Los Santos telling Solomon that he just got himself a brand new assistant. On his way to the club where the bunch are having fun, Solomon calls Michael and tells him not to kill anyone and just give them a warning. Michael has to then sneak onto the club rooftop where the helicopter is parked with Milton and Anton, accompanied by Rocco Pelosi and his bodyguard Gianni. Michael takes out a few guards on his way to the rooftop.

Once he gets onto the rooftop, he fights Rocco and warns him, flying away with Milton and Anton in the Frogger. Michael has to then fly the helicopter dangerously with Milton and Anton inside it, until Milton agrees to behave and work with Solomon on the film sincerely.

Michael drops them off at Richards Majestic and asks Milton to apologize to Solomon. At the end of the mission, Solomon tells Michael that he needs an associate producer and asks him if he would like to take up the job. Michael says he’d love to, after which Solomon walks back towards his office. The mission ends here.

Mission Objective

Go to East Los Santos.
Reach the helipad without alerting Rocco.
Beat up Rocco.
Get into the helicopter.
Change Milton and Anton's minds by flying erratically.
Go back to the studio.
Go to Solomon's office.

Gold Medal Objective

Mission Time - Complete within 10:00.
Silent Assassin - Kill 3 enemies using stealth attacks.
Can't Touch This 2.0 - Take no damage during the fight with Rocco.
Perfect Touchdown - Land the Frogger without damaging it.

Trivia

If the player attempts to pull a gun during the fight, Rocco will stop fighting and berate the player for using such cowardly methods. Shooting him will fail the mission as he appears in another mission later on in the game.
This mission is similar to Fender Ketchup where the player must scare Johnny Sindacco, and Roller Coaster Ride in which the player must scare Jane Hopper, a union boss. However, both of them are purely about scaring a single individual in a land vehicle.
A sub achievement "Can't touch this 2.0" is also present in the mission "Complications". In both missions, Michael has to fight someone in hand-to-hand combat.
