Ortega in GTA 5

Ortega is a part of the Varrios Los Aztecas and helps in running their drug trades and gun trades in Blaine County. He is an important part of the group that used to work alongside Trevor Philips Industries and The Lost MC before the events of GTA 5. Ortega lives in a trailer on the banks of the Zancudo river in Blaine County.

During the events of GTA 5 after Trevor comes to know that Micahel is still alive, he lands up killing Johnny Klebitz, a member of the Lost MC and sets himself and Trevor Philips Industries up for war against The Lost MC. He also decides to take them down alongside the Aztecas so that Trevor Philips Industries controls all the business in Blaine County.

After dealing with the Lost MC he visits Ortega at his trailer and pushes it into the river with his truck. At this point Trevor can either kill Ortega or spare him. If spared he will show up in the mission Trevor Philips Industries to attack Trevor’s meth lab with other members of the Los Aztecas. Trevor and Chef take them out and Trevor then kills Ortega.

Ortega wears a sleeveless jersey with the number 2 on the front and knee length shorts. He wears a golden crucifix around his neck, a dark brown band on his left wrist and a wrist watch on his right wrist. He has a thick mustache and tattoos on his arms.

• Ortega is the third character in the series that one can spare and kill at a later date, the other two being Clarence Little and Brian Jeremy. However, he is the only one the player kills in two different missions than a random encounter, and thus the only one that must be killed eventually.

• Even if Ortega was murdered in Mr. Philips, a glitch may occur on rare occasions, in which Ortega is mentioned in Trevor Philips Industries as if he had survived, and appears at the end of the mission to be killed by Trevor.

• In all of his appearances, Ortega is wearing a sleeveless Pounders t-shirt with a large number 2 on the front.

Q. Should I kill Ortega GTA V?

A. Killing Ortega in Mr.Philips doesn’t really matter and does not affect the game in any major way. If he is killed in Mr.Philips he will not appear in Trevor Philips Industries. If he is spared he will lead the gang of Aztecas while attacking Trevor’s meth lab.

Q. What happens if you let Ortega live in GTA 5?

A. If Ortega is spared in “Mr. Philips”, he will lead the gang of Aztecas while attacking Trevor’s meth lab in the mission Trevor Philips Industries.
