Paleto Bay In GTA 5

The Paleto Bay area is mostly residential with small shops and businesses. It was founded in the year 1898. Paleto Bay is based on Morro Bay, California. There are also garages, scrap yards and a small farm towards the eastern end of Paleto Bay. Route 1 passes through the middle of Paleto Bay and there is a large railway station at the southern end of the town.

When Steve Haines and Dave Norton inform Michael and Trevor about their next job at the Humane Labs and Research and that they have to collect the funds for the necessary equipment to carry out the heist, they contact Lester and ask him about what can be done.

Lester tells them that the Blaine County Savings Bank can be robbed as it is used to store all the dirty money of the cops of Paleto Bay. Lester arrives at Paleto Bay and meets Michael and Trevor after which the trio go to the bank to inspect the area. They set off the alarm and study the reaction of the cops.

Later Michael and Trevor along with Franklin and another gunman take the score and get away. After successfully robbing the Blaine County Savings Bank they deliver the funds to Andreas Sanchez who gives them their cut and takes the rest with him.

Later in the Strangers and Freaks mission Minute Man Blues, Trevor is seen coming across Manuel in Paleto Bay, the man whom Joe and Josef of the Civil Border Patrol wrongly accused of being an illegal immigrant. Trevor then leaves and goes to kill Joe and Josef.
