The design of the car is very similar to the real life Hummer SUVs. It is depicted as a slightly luxurious ride used by civilians. The grille design is just like the 1990 Dodge Caravan. The body design has the shape of a rectangular box which gives it more of a military look. The car has only a single color when found on the road. The secondary color customization affects the door handles. There is no step seen near the front or rear doors. The windows are rectangular shaped and the tint can be customized.
The car has an average pickup and is quite stable. The handling is great but the braking distance could be shorter. The weight of the car, however, justifies the braking distance. The Patriot is an overall good SUV for both on-road and off-road driving. However, the suspension is a little stiffened and hence it is better to drive on-road than off-road. The power and durability of the vehicle is slightly low.
