Pleasure Pier in GTA 5

The Pleasure Pier is based on Pacific Park at the Santa Monica Pier. It is highly influenced by Pacific Park as many of the real businesses there are seen as parody versions at the Pleasure Pier. When Charles I.D Looff started the construction of the amusement park at Santa Monica Pier, the original name was Pleasure Pier. The name Pleasure Pier in GTA V could also be based on Pleasure Pier in Galveston Island, Texas as the layout is very similar.

In The Third Way, which is the canonical ending for the game, Trevor Philips kills Steve Haines while he is shooting an interview for his TV show on the Ferris Whale at Pleasure Pier.
