Stanier In GTA 5

The design of the Stanier in GTA V draws its inspiration primarily from the 1992-1997 Ford Crown Victoria, with subtle influences from the 1992-1997 Mercury Grand Marquis and the 1998-2011 Ford Crown Victoria in its front clip. Additionally, the first generation model incorporates elements from the seventh generation Chevrolet Impala SS in its bodywork. The stock rims of the Stanier resemble those of the Minivan.

The Vapid Stanier based Taxi and Police Cruiser share a robust steel rim design with high-profile tires and chrome center caps inspired by Ford's Type 146 caps. This rim design is also featured on other vehicles with similar purposes, such as the Merit-based Taxi, Buffalo-based police cruiser, and Police Interceptor.

The Stanier offers a performance similar to the Police Cruiser variant of the second generation. It boasts an impressive top speed, thanks to its twin-cam straight-4 engine. The vehicle maintains its speed well while navigating sharp turns, although it does exhibit some body roll.

With its rear-wheel drive system, the Stanier is adept at power-sliding into corners. Additionally, the car demonstrates exceptional durability, withstanding multiple direct impacts to its chassis, drivetrain, and suspension without any major failures.

This vehicle does not appear in the storyline missions of GTA V.

• Can be found randomly driven around or parked in Los Santos.

• Can be often seen around Strawberry from 8 am to 11 am.

• Can be found driven around in Richman quite often.

• Similar to the Gresley, the Stanier could be named after a famous locomotive engineer, William Stanier, who was best known for his designs for the London, Midland and Scottish Railway.

• Blowing up the tires of the Stanier will show invisible rims.

• Strangely, a floating computer screen can be seen above the center console in the Stanier, likely an oversight during the conversion from the GTA IV Police Cruiser. This error was fixed in the enhanced version.
