The Sultan in GTA 5 is heavily based on the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI. It has circular headlights fitted inside a headlight panel with a transparent plastic cover like most modern cars. The tail lights have a rectangular design stretching out to the rear edges of the car with the brake lights situated under the reverse lights and turn indicators.
The Sultan has a lower and thinner front than its real-life counterpart. Above the rear bumper is the license plate along with the Manufacturer name, car name and engine specification.
The Sultan has an outstanding performance. After upgrading, the acceleration and top speed of this car is quite good with the handling also being quite impressive. High speed cornering and drifting with this car is easy as the car’s handling helps reset it on the road. This class='entity-link' id='suggestBtn-23'>vehicle comes with a twin-turbo 3.5L engine as mentioned on the rear of the car. It is one of the best 4-door cars in the game.
This vehicle has no prominent appearance in the storyline missions of GTA 5.
The Sultan will occasionally spawn next to the house in the middle of the cul-de-sac in Grove Street.
Spawns both on the road and parked in Chamberlain Hills and Little Seoul.
Thieves in Property Management missions often drive Sultans.
Can be sometimes found driven around Sandy Shores.
Can be found parked in the Vanilla Unicorn parking lot.
In Grand Theft Auto V, the Sultan can be modified to look almost like the Sultan RS. After the inclusion of the vehicle as part of the January 2016 Update, however, it can be upgraded into the actual Sultan RS instead in GTA Online.
The Sultan can also be modified to look like the Korean Mob Sultan TT from Grand Theft Auto IV.
The Sultan's engine sound is similar to a condensed interior recording of the BMW M3 E46's inline-6 engine.
In the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of GTA V, the player won't be able to put the camera in hood view while in a Sultan that has the carbon scooped hood modification applied.
The Sultan and Banshee are the only cars in GTA Online to change class when upgraded at Benny's, as they change from Sports to the Super class.
