The Lab was only available to GTA V PC players but was later introduced to other consoles through the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update.

This radio station is hosted by Doctor No and Chemical Bro, who are also known as Oh No and The Alchemist. They also worked together on the GTA V soundtrack. This radio station does not feature any news or commercial breaks. It was introduced in the PC version of GTA V and then later brought to consoles in the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 update on July 8th, 2015. The tracklist is based on the album “Welcome To Los Santos”.

"Speedline Miracle Masterpiece" is sampled from Sinkane & Sal P's "Shark Week," which can be heard on WorldWide FM (enhanced version).
The fact that Oh No gives himself the title of a Doctor while hosting The Lab may be a reference to Dr. No, one of the James Bond antagonists. The Alchemist's alter-ego, the Chemical Bro, could be a reference to the English electronic duo, The Chemical Brothers.
This is one of the eight Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online radio stations that are non-stop and without commercials or news breaks. The others are FlyLo FM, WorldWide FM, Soulwax FM, East Los FM, Los Santos Underground Radio, iFruit Radio and Music Locker Radio.
