The Long Stretch in GTA 5

The Long Stretch is a storyline mission in GTA V involving Franklin, Lamar and Stretch. This mission is given to Franklin by Lamar Davis.

In this mission, Franklin is seen returning home and finding his aunt Denise and her friends in the living room. He walks out of the house and meets Lamar and Stretch. Franklin expresses his distrust and hate towards Stretch soon after which Lamar asks him to drive them to Ammu-Nation for “business”. They purchase a shotgun and go to the recycling plant to meet up with D.

On arrival, they hear a few vehicles arriving at the scene and realize that D had set them up with the Ballas. Franklin, Lamar and Stretch start making their way out of the plant and face multiple Ballas gang members, killing them. When they get out, two LSPD helicopters are spotted in the air whom Franklin takes out. They lose the cops and get back to Franklin’s place.

Mission Objective

Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 60%
Kill 10 enemies with a headshot
Complete with minimal damage to health and armor
Complete within 10:30

Deaths and Destruction

D is killed by Stretch for setting them up.
Ballas gang members at the recycling plant are killed by Franklin, Lamar and Stretch.
Two LSPD helicopters are taken down by Franklin, killing the officers in them.

After The Mission

After this mission, Franklin helps Michael in robbing the jewelry store in order to pay Martin Madrazo for the damages.

Mission Video Walkthrough

Trivia

Franklin will always put on a jacket with jeans and shoes in this mission.
If the player takes Lamar's Emperor as a getaway car and abandons the Jackal, the Jackal will still appear near Franklin's house at the end of the mission, and Stretch and Lamar will drive away in this car. However, the Emperor will be still parked in the driveway and can be stored in the player's garage.
When Stretch shoots D, his pistol has a more realistic firing sound.
According to Shawn Fonteno, an earlier version of this mission had Franklin shooting D instead of Stretch.
