The Moment of Truth is an achievement/trophy in GTA V received for completing the mission Burying The Hatchet. This mission can be played as Michael or Trevor. This is one of the achievements unlocked automatically during storyline gameplay.

To unlock the Moment Of Truth trophy, the player has to simply complete the storyline mission “Burying The Hatchet”. It is the 51st mission in chronological order.
In this mission, Trevor finds out the truth about Brad, who was actually killed during the prologue of the game back in North Yankton. At the graveyard where Brad was buried, Michael and Trevor find themselves pointing guns at each other and are soon ambushed by Wei Cheng’s men, who take Michael hostage assuming he is a lover of Trevor.
The mission title is an idiom, meaning "to make peace" or "to forget about the past".
When Michael fires his pistol at Trevor during the cutscene, it notably has a different firing sound.
