The Trailer (Tanker) in GTA V is represented as a sizable cylindrical fuel container mounted on a twin-axle chassis. It incorporates practical trailer stands at the front, side guards around the middle portion, black fenders with mudguards at the rear, a substantial rear bumper, and circular tail lights.
The cylindrical tank displays fuel rails on its sides, three top covers, a ladder, and fuel extraction pipes at the back. Warning signs and marker lights adorn the sides, with Brute branding on the chassis.
This trailer appears exclusively in an orange color scheme with white end caps, featuring the RON slogan and logo on each side of the tank and "RON" with the logo at the front and rear.
Industrial wheels sourced from the Benson, Mule, and Phantom vehicles support the trailer. Vehicles capable of towing this trailer include the Barracks Semi, Docktug, Hauler, Phantom and Packer.
It is vulnerable to gunfire, with NPC-towed ones prone to exploding after minimal gunfire. However, player-towed tankers are more resistant to this, with fuel leaks eventually sealing if they withstand gunfire.
When a tanker catches fire, it typically explodes, often causing the towing semi-truck to ignite and explode as well. Explosions near the trailer can also lead to its detonation. Towed tankers on fire last a few seconds before exploding, detaching from the rig and rendering them unusable.
This vehicle cannot be modified.
Legal Trouble - At the airport, a tanker trailer can be seen, into which a police car crashes and explodes.
The Big Score (Subtle approach) - Right after the crew pass Rockford Plaza, a police car crashes into a Tanker Trailer.
Can be seen on highways pulled by trucks.
Can be found parked at the gas stations all over the map.
Can be seen parked next to Devin Weston’s hangar at Los Santos International Airport.
It can be noted that the changes made to the RON Tanker trailer were also applied to both the original and enhanced versions of the civilian tanker trailer. The Army Trailer tanker, however, was not updated.
Being a trailer, it cannot be driven, however it does feature its own handling line.
