The dragon egg is a decorative item that is dropped after defeating the Ender Dragon in the End. It is only dropped after the death of the first ender dragon. It is one of the rarest items in the game as it will only be generated once.

The dragon egg is naturally generated on top of the exit portal in the End after the Ender Dragon is defeated. When a player tries to break the dragon egg with any tool, it will start teleporting around, so the most reliable way to break it is by causing an explosion close to it. When destroyed by an explosion, the block will drop as an item.

The dragon egg is a decorative item that is a ‘trophy’ that you get after defeating the Ender Dragon. You have to place the egg on top of a block, as it is affected by gravity and will fall to the ground if there is nothing below it.
The dragon egg is like a trophy for players that have defeated the Ender Dragon. It can be picked up by the player if they wish to display it at their home. It is only generated once after the first Ender Dragon is defeated.

A. To hatch a dragon egg you will have to collect or craft four end crystals and bring them to The End. Take those four end crystals and place one on each side of the portal surrounding the Dragon Egg pedestal to hatch the egg.
