How to make a Grindstone in Minecraft

The recipe for a grindstone calls for two sticks which can be made in abundance by chopping down trees.

You can use any two types of wooden planks for this recipe. You can even mix and match the type of wood you use in the recipe. The grindstone will always look the same regardless of the type of wood you use.

One stone slab is needed to make a grindstone. It has to be a stone slab. You cannot use a cobblestone slab or a smooth stone slab.

Finally, you will need the 3x3 crafting grid of a crafting table to make a grindstone.

Step 2: Gather Wood

Turn your stone into stone slabs by placing them in a row in a crafting table.

Step 4: Craft Grindstone

If you did not know, every time a tool is used in an anvil for combining enchantments or repairs, the next time you do so will cost more levels. A grindstone will remove every enchantment and also reset this level penalty.
