There are a variety of different foods that you can eat Minecraft that can greatly sate your hunger whenever you need to do so. For foodies who are unsatisfied with eating pork or beef, or other food items that are easy to make, they might want to create a higher standard of food to consume, with greater saturation yields.
The pumpkin pie might be one of those food items that they are looking for.

To make Pumpkin Pie in Minecraft, open the crafting table containing the 3x3 grid. Place one pumpkin block in the first block, one sugar block in the middle box and one egg in the last box. Now that a Pumpkin Pie is made, simply click it and drag it to your inventory.
Making a pumpkin pie is a very straightforward process. What is not straightforward can be some of the ingredients that you will have to acquire. Here is a list of what you will need below:
The egg can be acquired easily if you have access to chickens. Having a chicken farm will make acquiring multiple eggs an easy prospect.
Getting sugar will be a bit more difficult unless you’ve built a farm for it. If you are looking specifically for sugarcane to acquire sugar itself then keep in mind that it has a habit of nearly always growing near a source of water.
As far as acquiring a pumpkin, that prospect can be a bit challenging if you aren’t looking in the right biomes. They can grow almost anywhere so long as there is a grass block, but your best chances might be looking in taiga or snowy taiga villages where pumpkin is grown instead of hay bales due to the climate.
Once you have acquired all of the ingredients all that is required is putting them together in order to form your desired food product.
If you do not want to go scouring around for the ingredients to make your own pumpkin pie, you do have the alternative to simply buy some from a vendor. The vendor in this case would be the farmer villager who can of course be found in villages.
Not any farmer villager will be able to sell it, however. They must at least be of an apprentice level to properly sell such an item and even then there is only around a fifty percent chance of them carrying such an item. If they do carry pumpkin pies with them you can get four of them for a single emerald, making it a pretty good bargain for such a quality food item.
Keep in mind that having quite a few of these pumpkin pies can be very useful for you if you're stalking up on food. It is an item that fills up eight hunger bars if consumed and therefore can sate your hunger for quite some time if rationed correctly. The ingredients might be difficult to acquire around the beginning of the game, but can all be grown and have farms if you are smart and utilize such items correctly. Keep the idea of having a farm dedicated to growing the ingredients of the pumpkin pie in the back of your mind when playing in survival, because it could pay great dividends for you down the line if you desire it.
