The jungle is a biome that is a forest full of tall trees, some of which are 2x2 wood blocks thick. It is home to vegetation blocks such as vines, fern, grass, and cocoa beans. Mobs such as Pandas, ocelots, parrots, and jungle temples can be found in this biome.
Jungles are very heavily forested biomes, rivaling the dark forests in tree density. Many of the grass blocks have grass and ferns. Single shoots of bamboo may generate on the floor as well. Jungle trees can grow tall and are the tallest trees in the game, with the tallest of them being over 30 blocks in height. Many of the leaves and logs of both types are covered in vines. Jungles contain varying terrain, from the typical dense foliage of the main jungle biomes to the grassy meadows that form in sparse jungle biomes.
A jungle pyramid may generate within the foliage. As these temples are partially made of mossy cobblestone and also covered in vines, they can prove hard to spot from a distance due to the density of the trees. Jungles can generate in most terrain types, from flat areas near sea level to elevated slopes beneath stony peaks.
There are three jungle biome variants: jungle, sparse jungle, and bamboo jungle. There are four removed variants: jungle hills, modified jungle, modified jungle edge, and bamboo jungle hills in previous versions.
Plenty of mobs can be found in the jungle biomes, passive and neutral mobs include glow squids, ocelots, pandas, parrots, cows, chickens, pigs, and sheep. The hostile mobs that you could come across include spiders, zombies, creepers, skeletons, endermen, witches, slimes, and zombie villagers.
The jungle is easily distinguished from a forest biome due to the heights of the trees, the large amount of foliage, and the brilliant green of the jungle. It is full of all kinds of vegetation blocks and both hostile and passive mobs. Structures such as the jungle temples are also generated here.
