Mangrove logs are a naturally generated part of mangrove trees. Their wood is vermilion in color. They are primarily used as building blocks and can be turned into planks by simply placing them in any crafting grid. A stripped variant can be obtained as well, but once stripped, the process can’t be reverted. Their vermillion-colored center helps them stand out more from the surroundings, and will work wonders for players who want contrasting colors when they decorate their base.

Mangrove logs can be obtained from mangrove trees, which can prove to be challenging as finding a mangrove swamp is hard. But going through the trouble of finding a mangrove swamp is definitely worth it as this wood's color is quite unique. You can break them with your hands but an ax speeds up the process. You can get stripped logs by right-clicking them with an ax.

Mangrove logs are identical to all other types of logs and thus have lots of crafting recipes and uses. Like other types of wood logs, they can be used for fueling furnaces, and when placed under a note block they will promptly make the sound more “bassy”. Items that have material-specific textures such as boats got new textures with the addition of mangrove logs.
