Tadpoles are here to accompany frogs as brand new mobs released in Minecraft’s 1.19 update to Java. In addition to the swamp-dwelling frog, its life cycle has also been implemented into the game in the form of tadpoles. Frogs will breed to lay frogspawn, frogspawn will eventually hatch into tadpoles, and tadpoles will eventually grow into frogs!

You can find these white frogs by growing tadpoles in warmer biomes. As long as the tadpole grows up in a jungle, badlands, desert, savanna, warm ocean, or even in the Nether, the tadpole will grow into a white frog.
Like most baby animals in Minecraft, tadpoles will not drop anything on death. You will not even obtain experience for killing tadpoles.
