Pillager Outpost

Pillager Outposts can generate in biomes which can generate villages such as plains, desert, savannah, taiga, snowy plains, snowy taiga (Bedrock only), sunflower plains (Bedrock only), and meadow biomes. They can also generate in some biomes which cannot generate villages: groves, snowy slopes, jagged peaks, frozen peaks, and stony peaks.

Pillager outposts will not generate too close to villages. The outpost tower will generate each time a pillager outpost does, and up to 4 other smaller structures may spawn around the main outpost structure. Pillager outposts generate every several hundred to couple thousand blocks.

Pillager outposts will always have one outpost tower and up to four other smaller structures around it, such as tents or cages. Within the outpost cages, either an iron golem or allay will spawn.

10. Tripwire Hooks (30.5% chance)
11. Iron Ingots (30.5% chance)
12. Enchanted Books (11% chance)

Q. What do I do if I find a Pillager outpost?

A. First, run into the pillager outpost with a shield and sword. Use the shield to block arrows while attacking the pillagers with the sword as you continue up the tower. It is best to deal with the outpost quickly, as pillagers will keep spawning at that location. Grab the loot you want and kill the captain if you want the Bad Omen effect. Once at the top of the outpost, you can either quickly leave or try to get the remaining pillagers.

Pillager outposts are a cool addition to the pillager mob, adding both depth and a chance for useful loot. While somewhat difficult due to their continuous stream of pillagers, they can be a fun challenge for players to face. Plus, since they are somewhat rare, finding them can be a fun achievement.
