The Savanna Plateau is identical to the regular savanna, featuring acacia trees and tall grass. This biome is found when a savanna is formed on top of a plateau or beneath a mountain. Despite being strikingly similar to the standard savanna biome, villages and pillager outposts do not spawn here. There is only one building spawned in the savanna plateau biome in Minecraft - the ruined portal.

Just like in the Savannas, horses and llamas are spawned here. This makes the savanna plateaus the only sub-savanna biome which spawns llamas. There are other passive mobs like cows, chickens, sheep, and pigs and hostile mobs like creepers, zombies, spiders, skeletons, and phantoms.
