The Snowy Beach is a biome in the overworld and a variant of the standard beach biome. While the beach biome consists of sand and a smooth descent into the ocean, the snowy beach variant has the same characteristics as a beach biome but usually borders a snowy biome, and the water it borders will usually be frozen.
It's a beach biome covered with layers of snow and separates a snowy plain or taiga from a frozen water biome. The weather is mostly consistent throughout, with average precipitation. The ever-present falling snowflakes add to the scenic beauty of this biome.
Vegetation is scarce, with the occasional spruce tree and hardly any grass. Shipwrecks and buried treasure can be found in this biome.
The usual Overworld mobs such as creepers, endermen, skeletons, spiders, witches and zombies will be spawned here just like in the standard beach biome. Turtles cannot be seen here but rabbits are spawned. In Bedrock Edition, snowy beaches use the same mob spawning chances as beaches for hostile and ambient categories, and villagers wear snowy outfits.
This snowy biome, in spite of its beauty, lacks resources that might be crucial for players. The shipwrecks and treasure will guarantee loot.
