Snowy Slopes are a biome introduced in the 1.17: Caves and Cliffs update. They’re fairly easy to identify with their snow-covered tips and stony cliffs. Among the layers of snow on top, there would be blocks of powdered snow blocks. They aren't particularly dangerous unless you happen to fall off a cliff.
Snowy slopes are a later update to Minecraft. They are found on the sides of tall mountains. This biome looks very peaceful but it isn't very safe. The layers of powdered snow can cause a dangerous fall. And the goats found here will try to headbutt you, which will cause damage. Among the ores that naturally generate here, you can mine for Stone, Iron, Emerald, and Coal. This is also the only mountain biome you can find igloos in.
There are two passive mob spawns you can find here: goats and rabbits. If there are caves here, you may find bats too. As for hostile mobs, you’ll find the usual group of creepers, spiders, endermen, witches, zombies, and skeletons.
