Stony Peaks in Minecraft

The stony peaks are a warmer variation of the jagged peaks and the frozen peaks biomes that generate when a mountain peak is in a region with warm biomes such as savannas and/or jungles. Despite having the appearance of snowy white peaks, it is made up entirely of stone. It is made up mostly of granite but has blocks of anthracite scattered throughout. You can also find calcite which is hugely useful for decorative purposes. This biome can prove to be resourceful if you’re looking for ores of iron, coal or even emerald. Pillager outposts are the only generated structure seen in this biome.

There are absolutely no passive mobs spawned here. However spawns like sheep can wander over from adjacent biomes. The usual hostile mobs like skeletons, zombies, spiders and such are spawned here. Bats are found near caves but caves are not a common spawn in Stony Peaks.
