Swamp huts (also known as witch huts) are naturally generated structures with the possibility of spawning witches and black cats. They generate in swamp biomes and rest on wooden pillars that extend down into the water.

Swamp huts are rare structures that are only generated in swamp biomes.
Swamp huts are made up of a small spruce plank square building, with oak log pillars extending downwards. The roof of the swamp hut is made of spruce wood planks and spruce wood stairs, and the hut is two blocks tall inside. There is a small platform outside the hut that could be an entrance though it is several blocks above the ground. On occasion, vines can generate from this front platform down to the ground. Inside a swamp hut, there is an empty cauldron, a crafting table, and a flower pot with a red mushroom in it.
While there are no loot chests in swamp huts, defeating the witch can get a large haul of loot, and the cat provides a good opportunity to get a pet cat. In Bedrock Edition, a random potion will generate in the cauldron in random amounts. There is a 25% chance for Healing or Poison, a 15% chance for Swiftness, a 10% chance for either Slowness, Weakness, or Water Breathing, and a 5% chance of Fire Resistance.

Swamp huts or witch huts are rare structures that give players a chance to fight a witch and get a black cat. While they do not have loot chests, they are still an interesting structure to find in the game.
