Tulip in Minecraft

The tulip is a type of flower that is naturally generated in the Overworld and it is one of several different types of flowers in the game. It has four variants; red tulips, orange tulips, white tulips, and pink tulips. They are used for decoration and can also be used to make red, orange, white, and pink dyes. They are a non-cultivable plant unlike wheat, sugarcane, etc.

How to obtain Tulips?


The tulip is a flower that is found in plains, sunflower, and meadow biomes and they can be broken instantly with any tool or even with your bare hands. You can also harvest them with a pair of shears. Tulips are commonly generated in random patches on dirt and grass blocks. You also have a small chance of spawning a tulip when using Bone Meal on a grass block.

What is the use of tulips?


All four variants of tulips are commonly used for either decoration or for making the respective dyes, by placing one into a crafting grid. They can also be used for breeding bees and helping them generate honey by pollination.
