Jigumo was one of the teammates of Kagero and a member of Fuma Clan. Orochimaru his clan into following him. He and two other clan members, Kagero and Kamikiri, protected Orochimaru's base in a place called the Land of Sound. He is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that Masashi Kishimoto wrote and illustrated.

Jigumo first appeared in the Land of Rice Fields Investigation Mission arc in Naruto. The Fuma clan fought in a war and wanted to settle down. Orochimaru and Kimimaro promised to help restore their power if they joined Otogakure, and Kagero agreed to leave with them. During a mission to the Land of Rice Fields, Kagero, Kamikiri, and Jigumo attacked Naruto, Sakura, and Sasame.
Jigumo was one of the three guards who protected Orochimaru's hideout. They tried to capture Naruto, Sakura, and Jiraiya from the Leaf Village. Jigumo used his Wind Spider Technique to trap Sakura and Sasame inside a hut. Later, Sasame found out that Jigumo and his partners planned to kill them to impress Orochimaru, but the Leaf ninja defeated them.
When Jigumo attacked Orochimaru for refusing to heal Kagero, he was killed. Disguised as Orochimaru, Arashi absorbed Jigumo and Kamikiri into his body, becoming a monster. The monster was defeated, and the hideout collapsed. The last thing seen was Jigumo and Kamikiri's flesh trying to devour Arashi.
Jigumo joined Orochimaru because he promised to help Jigumo's clan gain power. He was very loyal to Orochimaru until his friend Kagero got hurt, and Orochimaru, or someone pretending to be Orochimaru, refused to heal her. Jigumo was angry because his friend died, and he wanted to get back at Orochimaru or the person who pretended to be him.
Jigumo did not have hair on his head, and his limbs were long and thin, like a spider's legs. He had very noticeable thick eyebrows, and a scar was visible on his right eye.
Jigumo was a ninja who used spiders and webs in battle and for spying. He could create spider webs using his Wind Spider Technique and shoot spiders and webbing from his mouth. Jigumo was also skilled at climbing trees and surfaces on all fours, like a spider. His unique technique allowed him to confuse his opponents by projecting his voice from different directions.
